New life! Plants and animals are venturing forth from their winter homes and quiet times. On this vernal equinox, night and day are balanced. Eggs, bunnies, nests, seedlings, all are symbols of this new life and that day will now be longer than night. As the world comes back to life after a winter of dying off, we celebrate the day. It is time to plant, either in pots or in the ground if it is warm enough. Sow now what you hope to reap in the fall, and in life!
On the original quilt are symbols of spring: Butterfly, sprite on a toadstool, pots with seedlings, nest with eggs, and a bunny along with the pentacle, tree in season, and Sabbat name.
This listing is for an ACEO print of an original appliqué wall hanging. It is one of a series of eight (8) that represent each of the eight pagan Sabbats (Samhain, Yule, Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lammas, and Mabon).
